Marichi is the most popular and old music from Mexico. It is original from Jalisco during the 19th century. Marichi is differeent from other bands, because people, who is in a marichi, dress with the popular clothing from Jalisco. Songs are about love, politics, revolutionary heroes, and betrayal. In Jalisco, we can see Marichis on the streets or restaurants. Also, we have Marichi festivals like International Marichi Festival in Guadalajara, Jalisco. Thare are 
many songs, but there are two most popular songs: "La Cucaracha" and "El Marichi Loco." Also, some men pay Marichi to go in the night to his girlfrind or wife house to sing a love song. We called "Serenata."
