Sep. 15 Independence Day
Every September 15 in Rosarito we make a big celebration. We celebrate Mexicos independence Day. In all mexico we celebrate this day, but in rosarito we celebrate really nice. We all go to the park and there we have like some sord of carnival were they sale food and drinks. The best part is at 12 o clock were every body starts yealling: "Viva Mexico". At the same time they light up some sord of castle that they make with wood and fireworks. The sky lights up with diferent colored lights. At the end of the fireworks a crown flys spining all ligth up and all the kids try to catch it. It is a great celebration that we have in Rosarito.

SORRY ERIC, BUT MEXICOS INDEPENDANCE DAY IS SEPTEMBER 16; NOT THE 15TH. THE CELIBRATION ALWAYS BEGINS A DAY BEFORE. MY FAMLIY AND I ARENT ABEL TO GO DOWN TO BAJA CALIFORNIA, SO WE SIT AND WATCH AT HOME. I GO OUTSIDE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND I HEAR THE FAINT SOUND OF PEOPLE SCREAMING VIVA MEXICO.
