Durango

Every country, state or city is known by its unique history and culture. Durango is the place i was born. The official name of the city is "Victoria Durango" reference to the first president of Mexico, Guadalupe Victoria, who was born in Durango. Durango has been inhabited for approximately two thousand years. This city is known by its excellent location in relation to various rivers and its farming lands. It is also known by its architecture. Durango offers close to a thousand buildings constructed of diverse architectural styles. This buildings includes haciendas, parks,beautifull churches and historical buildings. They range from neoclassic, baroque and neogathic. This are some of the buildings we have in Durango Mexico.

  1. I love those beautiful pictures. I didn't know that there are so beautiful neoclassic buildings in Mexico. We don't have those kinds of buildings in my country, Japan. Those pictures are really different from my image of Mexico. I think Victoria Durango is really beautiful and historical city. I want to visit there at first than any other parts of Mexico if I have a chance.(^-^)

  2. yeah when people think of Mexico, they think of it's food, government or their culture. but usually they don't think about the architectural places mexico has. i think Durango is a beautifull city not only because i grew up there but because of it's buldings. when or if you visit Durango Dgo. the best places to go are churches (not for religion) but because churches have the best architecture. most of the churches are hundreds of years old. most of them were build by the spanish.

  3. I don't know much about Durango. One day I would like to visit Durango. I know for sure Durango has many beutiful places. Many people think that Tijuana is all about Mexico and that's not true. Maxico have beutiful States.
