Spicy rush: How to Make Spicy Ricecake

Most of Korean people like to eat spicy food. For example, Kimchi is one of the most beloved every-day food in Korea, which is made from cabbages, a lot of red peppers, and other ingredient. Since I was born and raised in Korea, I had been eating a lot of spicy food, and some of them were too spicy that I had to drink a gallon of water to put out the fire on my toungue.
Today, let me introduce one of Koreans' favorite street food, Tuk-bok-ki.
It is not too spicy, but if you are not familiar with Korean food, it would give you a good idea of
how Korean people love spicy food.
It is not very hard to make, but I guarantee the taste if you would make it for yourself.
To make Tukbokki, you need:

1. Rice Cake (200g)

2. One Carrot and Spring Onion.

3. Fish Cake (100g)

4. Korean hot pepper paste (4 Scoops)

5. Starch syrup (2 Scoops)

Making Steps

1. Boil the water. You will need to boil 3 1/2 cups of water

2. First, you have to fry Carrots and Spring Onions. They should be fried for about three to five minutes. Do not fry them too much.

3. Put vegetables and rice cake into the boiling water. Then, put four scoops of Korean hot pepper paste (you can buy this in a Korean Market), and two or three scoops of Starch syrup as well.

4. Boil them until the soup become thick. You can add ketchup for mild taste, or you can add Korean red peppers for more spicy taste.

Your Tukbokki should look like ...

Isn't it look delicious? Once you try this, you would never be able to reject its spicy desire!
