The Jaripeos

My birth place is Morelia Michoacan, Mexico. People enjoy to go to Jaripeos. A jaripeo is where people ride bulls. Men win prizes when they ride bulls. Men riding bulls is a dangerous activity. Many men have died already. People like to watch this activity. Jaripeos are part of a tradiction in Mexico where people enjoy watching brave men riding bulls. When I lived in Mexico I used to go to Jaripeos.

  2. I agree with Abby. Although I've never been there to see a jaripeo, I watched it a couple of times on TV. When I watched it, the bull was so crazy, and the rider fell down. The bull stamped on him. He was bleeding a lot and looked terrible. If people know it's dangerous and possible to die, why would they do that? I cannot understand it, and I think the bulls must feel that human beings are sooo annoying!

  3. I also agree with the opinions from Abby and Hanako. I think there's no meaning in men's dyeing only for making audiences fun. Also, from the point of view for animal, the lives of bulls were so useless because they're just made crazy and killed only for the audiences' joy, regardless of the result of the stupid game. I don't wanna see it and hope people to stop this meaningless game as soon as possible.(sorry, Jose and the peaple from Morelia Michoacan!)
